what she ate

cajun chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cucumber on 12 grain bread
whole wheat crackers with peanut butter
apple juice
not shown: two oatmeal cookies

a few things:
the only time she drinks juice is at lunch. she actually doesn't like it much and would rather drink milk or water {who is this child?}.
she doesn't eat alot of meat because i don't cook alot of meat which is why she has alot of peanut butter. i realize there are a lot of other options for her to get protein but she likes this the most right now.

in september, she'll be training three times a week {maybe four} so i'm curious to know what other moms feed their young children who are in sport..
