happy saturday.

it's been a busy busy week. most of it production work. one of the projects i have been working on is a line called i heart lula which is debuting next week. it's really cute a-line dresses made from vintage fabrics.
the story behind this little line is simple. i just love designing. it's also a small way to make extra income to support lula honey. the dresses are selling for $20 and you can find them at giggle'n bloom.
another project on the go is making super cute bunting flags made with vintage fabrics to decorate lula honey merch.

on a completely different note, my oldest kiddo left this morning to go sailing for 6 weeks. i am so happy for him but have been an emotional wreck the past few days because i will miss him so.

anyways, i have alot of work to do but wanted to share my awesome pink lemonade recipe with you. it's my favorite summer drink ♥

1 cup sugar (can reduce to 3/4 cup)
1 cup water (for the simple syrup)
1 cup lemon juice
1 cup cranberry juice
4 to 5 cups cold water (to dilute)
1 Make simple syrup by heating the sugar and water in a small saucepan until the sugar is dissolved completely.

2 While the sugar is dissolving, use a juicer to extract the juice from 4 to 6 lemons, enough for one cup of juice.

3 Add the juices and the sugar water to a pitcher. Add 4 to 5 cups of cold water, more or less to the desired strength. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes.

Serve with ice, and sliced lemons. or you can get creative and serve them the way we do in little glass bottles. (we buy our milk in bottles so we always have plenty hanging around)

have a happy day
